Early Childhood Education Model
Candidates completing this professional Early Childhood Education (ECE) program are licensed in grades pre-kindergarten through third (ages 0-8) in Colorado. The ECE model is similar to the secondary and K-12 model; however, candidates enroll in a different set of education courses in Phase II and III for ECE. Field experiences are also organized in the P-3rd grade settings. Finally, admission to the ECE program is required before enrollment in Phase I education courses.
