Biography: 

Larry Donner has been fire chief in Boulder, Colorado for 17 years.  Prior to his appointment in Boulder, he served as Iowa City, Iowa's fire chief after working his way up to division chief with the Poudre Fire Authority in Fort Collins, CO.  He has over 36 years experience in the fire service and has experience as a firefighter, company officer, training chief, fire marshal and fire chief.

Chief Donner is a past president of the Colorado State Fire Chiefs, a past president of the Missouri Valley Division of the International Association of Fire Chiefs, and is still an active member of state, regional and national fire service organizations.
