FESA Certificate of Completion
The FESA certificate of completion is designed for fire and emergency service professionals who want to increase their knowledge and skills as managers, leaders, and administrators. This certificate is ideal for working professionals who are not in a position to pursue a bachelor's degree, already possess a degree, or want to acquire transferable college credit. The skills learned in this certificate program will prepare students to perform administrative and managerial duties in fire and emergency service organizations.
The FESA certificate of completion is a companion to the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Fire and Emergency Services Administration. Each course is offered at the junior or senior level (300-400), and may be transferred to the bachelor's degree program.
All FESA courses are administered in distance education format only via lectures on DVD, texts, online interaction, email, and mail correspondence. No on-campus attendance is required. Students must have internet and e-mail capabilities.
Admittance to Colorado State University is NOT required for the FESA certificate of completion. Students may register as non-admitted Continuing Education students through the Division of Continuing Education. Please refer to the Registration FAQ's for more information.
Tuition is $280 per credit hour and does not include the cost of required textbooks and/or DVDs. Colorado State University will assess a non-refundable $15 technology fee to help support increasing technological needs, improvements, and advancements at the university. The fee will be assessed each term.
